Liz Claiborne Inc. provides direct charitable support to meet community needs, primarily in the form of merchandise donations. 

Liz Claiborne Inc. donates product, samples, fixtures and furniture to the following types of organizations:

• Clothing Banks: The company regularly donates new apparel to clothing banks for homeless and low-income families in some of our major U.S. operating communities.
• Programs for Women: To complement our efforts towards improving economic opportunities for women, the company donates professional attire and accessories to programs that prepare economically-disadvantaged women for the workplace. Similarly, we extend our work supporting survivors of abuse by providing clothing to organizations that assist women seeking services that address family violence, and its after-effects.
• Associates' Charitable Interests: Liz Claiborne Inc. encourages our associates to be involved in their communities through volunteering and matching gifts, and we further support their charitable interests through our Merchandise Donation Program.  Associates may request merchandise to be included as a raffle, auction or door prize at a fundraiser for a nonprofit with which they actively volunteer.

Donated merchandise may not be resold.

Limited monetary contributions are made domestically to nonprofit organizations, largely linked to our customers’ and associates’ charitable commitments.
