The 2006 Paid Summer Internship Program is designed to identify, develop and hire top entry level talent. The 10-Week, full-time program is project-based. Participants work closely with their managers to understand and impact their specific functions and divisions, while being exposed to “the big picture” through weekly interaction with key executives and networking events.

Liz Claiborne, Inc. offers internships in: Finance, IT/IS, Merchandising, Cosmetics, Design, Sales, Production, Legal, E-Commerce, Human Resources, Specialty Retail and International.

Requirements:
  • Analytical skills (quantitative and qualitative).
  • Demonstrated acumen in math, technology or statistics.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Experience working in a team environment.
  • Ability to problem-solve and think creatively.
  • High energy, initiative and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to be successful in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to problem solve independently.
  • Computer skills matching demands of position.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Students of all majors are welcome to apply.
  • Internships are open to college juniors and graduating seniors.
  • A GPA of 3.0 or better is required.
  • Past retail experience is preferred but not required.
